Humulin LILLY 70/30 vial 10ml is a premixed insulin formulation designed for the management of diabetes mellitus. This 10ml vial contains a blend of 70% NPH (Neutral Protamine Hagedorn) insulin and 30% regular insulin. This combination allows for both immediate and extended blood glucose control.  Making it a convenient option for individuals requiring insulin therapy. -The regular insulin component begins to act within 30 minutes after injection. Peaking around 2-3 hours and lasting approximately 6-8 hours. In contrast, the NPH component starts to work within 1-2 hours, and peaks around 4-12 hours.  Providing coverage for up to 24 hours. This dual action helps maintain steady blood glucose levels throughout the day, especially after meals. The dosage of Humulin 70/30 should be tailored to the individual’s needs, taking into account blood glucose monitoring results and healthcare provider recommendations.
